Myself and Family

I, Charles Yokem was born April 13, 1990 in Shreveport, Louisiana. For the first 13 years of my life I lived across the river in Bossier City, LA and then moved to Shreveport. I have three brothers and a sister: Robert Yokem, Andrew Yokem, Thomas Yokem, and Emily Yokem. My parents are Alan & Kelly Yokem and Suzie & Michael Morrison. My Grand-father started and has owned and operated Yokem Toyota Inc. since 1971. My grandparents, Hoyt & Hazel Yokem moved here from Houston, TX in 1971 when they started the car dealership. My grandparents on my mother's side, Ralph & Barbara Werling, live in Baton Rouge, LA.

My Education

For 19 years of my life I attended privates school. For elementary and middle school I attended Saint Mark's Cathedral School in Shreveport. For highschool I attended Loyola College Prep in Shreveport where I spent most of my concentration on baseball. My senior year I signed with Centenary College of Louisiana to play baseball, but after 3 months of intensive work outs and practice I decided that baseball was no longer enjoyable for me so I decided to stop playing. At Centenary I joined the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. I stayed at Centenary for 3 semesters before I decided that the school was not right for me. I changed schools and started at Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) in the spring of 2010. I am majoring in Business Administration and Management. Ever since I changed schools I could not be more please with my education.

Hobbies and Interest

Duck Hunting

Duck hunting took place in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas

Gator Hunting

Gator hunting took place at Loggy Bayou, and was legal.

The Lake

Every summer I always look forward to going out on the water to cruise, ski, tube and fish. These pictures took place at Lake Degray in Arkansas and on Lake Bistineau in Louisisana.

Yokem Land Services, L.L.C. provides services for land clearing, lot cleaning, dirt work, gravel work, ponds, levees, demolition, dredging, hot-shot service, hydro-seeding and bush hogging. The company performs each job in a quick, timely manner, for a great value with quality work guaranteed every time.

• The business currently owns a Kubota KX-080 Excavator with a dozer blade. Excavator price is $100.00 an hour with a $200.00 delivery and pick-up. The excavator can also be rented for $1,800.00 a week with a $1,000.00 deposit and $200.00 pick-up and delivery fee. Also a Kubota L-3400 Tractor with a front end loader and many attachments: bush-hog, box blade, rake, spreader, disk, and chemical tank. Tractor work is $65.00 an hour, 2 hour minimun, and bush-hogging prices are $50.00 an hour, 3 hour minimum. Hydro-seeding is available at 9 cents a square foot. Also with 2009 Dodge Ram 3500 dually, hot-shot delivery service is available at $3.50 a mile with a 15 mile minimum, on a 30 foot goose-neck dual tandem axles trailer max load 25,000lbs or 20 foot tandem axle bumper pull trailer. Owner on site at each job, the business is licensed and fully-insured.
